A 29-residue GHRH(1-29) analogue, stabilized at four positions so it outlasts native GHRH — but without the Drug Affinity Complex that lets the DAC version bind serum albumin. Drop that albumin tether and the peptide clears fast, giving a sharp, short-lived pulse at the GHRH receptor.
That pulsatile profile is why researchers reach for the No-DAC form specifically: it tracks the natural rhythm of GHRH release more closely than a long-acting variant, which suits models built around how the pituitary answers brief, repeated signals.
The peptide is used to drive GHRH-receptor signaling on a short clock. Studies track receptor binding, the resulting GH and IGF-1 output, and how the No-DAC pulse compares against longer-acting analogues in the same hypothalamic–pituitary preparations.
