Terms of Service

These terms set the conditions under which Valtrax Research supplies laboratory materials. The materials are sold for in-vitro bench research inside Canada only — never for human or animal intake, clinical work, or any use that breaches Canadian federal or provincial law. No Valtrax Research product carries Health Canada approval for diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any condition.

Placing an order, or otherwise using this site, binds you to the full text below. We may revise these terms; the revision date above marks the current version.

Checkout requires you to confirm each of the following. Submitting an order is your attestation that they hold:

• You are 18 or older, or have reached the age of majority in your province or territory
• The materials are destined for legitimate laboratory research and no other purpose
• You understand none of these materials are cleared by Health Canada for human intake, therapy, or diagnostics
• You will observe every federal, provincial, and municipal rule that governs research materials
• You will not resell, hand off, or repackage any product for human or animal use

An order enters fulfilment only after payment clears. We accept:

A chargeback or payment dispute opened without merit can void the order and suspend the account behind it.

Because these are research materials, every sale is final. No returns or exchanges. We step in only in these cases:

• In-transit damage — send us the order number and a photo of the damage and we resolve it
• Wrong item shipped — flag it and we correct the order at no charge to you
• A Janoshik verification that reads below the ≥99% floor — replacement or full refund, opened by us, not you

An independent Janoshik verification is included with every order, so the floor is never taken on faith.

• Fulfilment runs Monday to Friday, less Canadian statutory holidays
• Shipments move domestically across Canada on Canada Post Xpress
• Stated transit windows are estimates, not commitments
• A correct delivery address is the buyer’s responsibility
• Orders above $200 CAD ship free, applied at checkout without a code
• Outer packaging is plain — neutral labels, nothing about the contents on the exterior

We work to keep descriptions, specifications, prices, and certificates correct, but slips happen. We may fix an error and cancel or decline an order caught by a pricing or listing mistake. Certificates are issued against the exact stock we ship and published to the verification records.

Valtrax Research carries no liability for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss tied to the use, misuse, or inability to use what we supply. Goods ship "as is" for research, without warranty of any kind, save where Canadian consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

These terms are read under the law of the Province of British Columbia and the federal law of Canada that applies there. Any dispute over this site or a purchase falls to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
